Linda Huang Tolentino, MAc, LicAc
Licensed Acupuncturist
Linda’s first experience with acupuncture began in her early 30’s when she herself was seeking to become pregnant with her first child and to balance the demands/stress of being a working mother. She was an account manager in the telecommunications industry managing a $2 million+ territory with monthly and annual quotas. Incorporating regular acupuncture treatments allowed her to maintain her health and sanity without the aid of medication. After witnessing its transformational healing powers in her own life, Linda became determined to help others regain balance, improve their quality of life, and maintain happiness whenever possible.
Inspired by her own journey, Linda returned to school to become an acupuncturist and opened a busy practice outside of Boston, MA before her husband was relocated to the Raleigh, NC area. Through the years, Linda has incorporated not only acupuncture and other techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine but also nutritional counseling and exercises. She believes that what you put inside of you is just as important in maintaining your health. Because the road to change can sometimes be challenging, Linda believes it is important to create a nonjudgmental atmosphere where clients feel empowered and encouraged to take control of their own well-being. |
Linda graduated with a Masters in Acupuncture (MAc) from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) now part of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA with a concentration in Chinese/Japanese acupuncture. She holds a Diplomate from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Linda completed a 3-year term as the President of the North Carolina Society of Acupuncture and Asian Medicine (NCSAAM) in 2021. She graduated with a BA in Economics from Barnard College/Columbia University in NYC and an MBA from Boston University. She lives outside of the Raleigh-Durham area with her husband and two Frenchies.
